Summary of Qualifications/Backgrounder

I have lead global marketing teams for over 18 years in the development of brand launch campaigns, award-winning online media and integrated corporate events that sell.  My collaboration with leading visionaries of the digital revolution kept me at the forefront of “what’s new” since 1991. I am both technically literate and experienced in a digital world; creating not merely tactical or temporary initiatives, but enduring strategies for profit. As a team leader and senior account manager, I built agency campaigns that drove sales and brand recognition for the best of the Fortune 500 ranging from AT&T to IBM to Xerox. An “early-adopter,” I leveraged emerging web technologies as early as 1997 by developing a virtual (online) collaboration model years ahead of its time—enhancing operational efficiency and competitive advantage.

 

My reputation has been built by increasing revenue and brand leadership crafting and executing strategic solutions appropriate to the organization. Creativity, exceptional communication skills, innovation and a collaborative approach have led to consistent bottom-line results. I am a leader and idea generator—adept at translating complex value propositions into clear, effective brand marketing campaigns but equally comfortable as a messaging/positioning expert consultant or “hands-on” executive producer.

 

Working one-on-one with top management, C-level executives and teams, I shape strategic messaging, delivery and desired impression. My “Executive Coaching” programs have been used for leadership development in over 150 companies and government agencies.  As a professional speaker, I combine my business experience with a sense of humor to build more effective and engaging thought leaders. I am rated in the top 1% of creative marketing faculty for 16 consecutive years with Exhibitor Publications.

 

Recent highlights:

 

  • Sterling Commerce: (a division of AT&T) adopted a series of my online marketing videos as their corporate web standard. Translated into six (6) languages, they launched multiple product lines successfully worldwide and were responsible in part for generating over $50M in software sales worldwide.
  • Thomson Lifelong Learning: Collaborated with C-level management in finding fresh new ways to redefine their strategic direction and better communicate a leadership position in preparation for corporate acquisition. “We achieved a one $1 billion dollar premium above analyst evaluations in 2007 due in part to the “ONE TL Senior Management Forum” -- Ron Schlosser: CEO: Thomson Life-Long Learning
  • HP/StarCite: Developed an internal campaign for HP aimed at changing employee behavior patterns. This included a strategic initiative for an online event technology platform implementation, streamed to 80,000 employees in one day and resulting in 60% online viewer-ship in the first week resulting in an $11M dollar operational savings within one year.
